Meet: Monia

Monia, age 22, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in June of 2019. Following the diagnosis, she started an invasive treatment schedule and later received a bone marrow transplant.

Monia's Story

Monia's healthcare team found a donor that was her perfect match - her little brother! Despite all of the challenges over the past 12 months, Monia refused to let cancer change her attitude, perspective on life, nor her drive. Once treatment started, she was unable to go to school or work. However, that did not stop her from doing amazing things. Amidst the treatment and constant hurdles, Monia started her own skin care company called Mhaylon Naturals!

"After spending months in the hospital I vowed to live the most healthy life possible.
That meant reading and understanding what’s in every single thing I used on my body."

Beacon of Hope

Monia lives with her father, granny, and two brothers - family is everything to her. She even named her company after her younger brother, who she thanks for saving her life. We are inspired by Monia's drive, and equally, by the love and compassion she shows to everyone she meets. We couldn't be more grateful to consider her a part of the #Weish4Ever Family!
