The Legacy Board was established to be a vehicle supporting its members' desire to make an immediate, direct, transparent, and powerful impact in their charitable efforts. Using their platforms and influence, we invite members to make Weish4Ever's cause their own, all while uplifting the mission of bringing joy and relief to patients & families facing the cancer journey.

Paying It Forward

Welcome A Beneficiary Annually

Attend a beneficiary visit and welcome a patient into the Weish4Ever Community
We setup up an in-person or virtual visit for you to deliver a gift to a new beneficiary family (local to your geography)
Invite your family or friends to join you in "paying it forward" and experience the direct impact your involvement brings
If applicable, involve your media representative to capture the inspiration

BUILDING A LEGACY

Planned Event Or Yearly Contribution

We strive to make giving easy in support of your philanthropy goals, all while maximizing the impact you can make on our cause
Consider hosting an event with proceeds benefiting W4E (e.g., a camp, a party with donations in lieu of gifts, a tournament, charity softball game, etc.)
Connect with other Legacy Board Members to combine efforts
Leverage Weish4Ever's event-planning capacity and/or invite agency involvement
If hosting an event is not of interest, a yearly financial contribution or other avenue for support is welcomed!

The Andrew Weishar Foundation

The Mission

The Andrew Weishar Foundation (“Weish4Ever”) was created in 2013 as a 100% volunteer-led, Chicago-based 501(c)3 Non-Profit Charitable Organization. Inspired by its namesake, colorectal cancer struck Andrew Weishar during his freshman year of college. Over the next three years, Andrew valiantly battled cancer while a community rallied around him. As the end neared, Andrew asked us to pay forward the goodwill bestowed upon his family. From that promise, the Andrew Weishar Foundation was born. Weish4Ever's mission uplifts families with adolescents & young adults battling cancer. The AYA cancer community is an underserved population of patients - making the joy and financial relief brought by Weish4Ever even more impactful. We invite you to continue to build your Legacy with Weish4Ever.
